Dr. Toni Manos, MD

Medical Director

Dr. Toni Manos serves as our Medical Director.  Dr. Manos graduated from Medical University of South Carolina in 1984 with her Medical Degree.  She was Board Certified and practiced Emergency Medicine for over 20 years.  While Dr. Manos continues to serve as Medical Director for several corporations, she has expanded her scope and interest to include alternative forms of preventative medicine.  Dr. Manos believes the future of medicine must not only address the relief of suffering but the promotion of “total health.” During her free time, Dr. Manos enjoys music and camping.

Dr. Ryan J. Connolly, DO

Dr. Ryan Connolly did his undergraduate work at DeSales University in Biology and graduated in 2007 with honors. His is a 2013 graduate of the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and did his first post-graduate year, a Traditional Rotating Internship at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine consortium. After completing his internship, he completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. While in residency, he spent a year as chief resident and completed a Masters of Medical Education degree. In September of 2017, Dr. Connolly received his board certification in Internal Medicine from the American Osteopathic Association. He is recently married and lives with his wife on Daniel Island here in South Carolina. In his spare time, Dr. Connolly and his wife enjoy trying new restaurants traveling, hiking, and watching movies.

Deeana Burr, FNP

Nurse Practitioner & CMO

Deeana Burr, FNP-BC is an ANCC Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who brings to Atlantic Coast Physical Medicine an extensive 30 years of nursing experience. A graduate of the Chamberlain College of Nursing in Chicago, Illinois – Ms. Burr’s career has included such specialties as Neurosurgery, Cardiology, Oncology, Endoscopy, Surgical Recovery, and Emergency Medicine making her a perfect fit for a holistic practice. Regarding her personal philosophy toward being a healthcare practitioner, Ms. Burr enacts the ICARE approach: I- Integrity: I believe in conducting myself in a fair, trustworthy manner and uphold professional and ethical standards C- Compassion – I act with empathy, understanding, and attentiveness toward others. A- Accountability – I take responsibility for my actions and collaborate with my colleagues to deliver quality patient care. R- Respect – I always treat patients, families, and colleagues with dignity, respect, and sensitivity – valuing their diversity. E- Excellence – I lead by example, rising above ordinary expectations through personal effort and motivation – inspiring a positive environment and teamwork. In her personal time, Ms. Burr enjoys boating, golfing, scuba diving, and snow skiing.

Dr. Heidi Norman, D.C.

Doctor of Spinal Correction & Rehabilitation

Dr. Norman is a 2004 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College and is board certified in Therapeutic Modalities. Her passion is to help people improve function and posture, allowing them to live life to the fullest. Dr. Norman has completed extensive continuing education courses focused on Nutrition and Functional Neurology, as well as pediatric treatment. In her free time, Dr. Norman enjoys playing basketball, spending time with her husband and 3 children, and being a tourist exploring everything Charleston has to offer.

Dr. Allison Grondski, D.C.

Doctor of Spinal Correction & Rehabilitation

Dr. Grondski is a 2016 graduate of National University of Health Sciences and is board certified in Therapeutic Modalities. Dr. Grondski has additional certification from the American Posture Institute and has completed extensive continuing education courses focused on postural re-education and nutrition. Her passion is healthy living. In her free time, Dr. Grondski enjoys coffee, spending time with her 3 dogs and exploring Charleston.

Ben Gomez, LMT

Massage Therapist & Lead Physio Rehab Aid

Ben joined Atlantic Coast Physical Medicine in July of 2013. Having been raised in a holistic approach to health care, it was Ben’s desire to pursue a career in the healing arts. Ben graduated from Miller-Motte Technical College with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science and Massage Therapy. Ben is certified in medical massage in 2015, specializing in therapeutic and rehabilitation massage. Ben also serves as a physio rehab aid, working one on one with patients for stretching and strengthening techniques. Ben has a passion to help patients increase their quality of life. Ben is fluent in both Spanish and English and loves spending time with his daughter.

Dr. Heather Lambert, D.C.


Dr. Lambert is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic and specializes in spinal correction and structural rehabilitation techniques. She is one of the pioneers in the growing field of Physical Medicine in the Charleston, SC area, and has built one of the largest integrative practices in nearby Summerville. Dr. Lambert believes very strongly in the importance of giving back to her community and is an active member of The Foundation for Wellness Professionals, a non-profit organization that provides health education and related resources to the Charleston metropolitan area. In demand as a keynote speaker on holistic approaches to health and nutrition, She has conducted over 100 workshops for area businesses and organizations. Outside of the office, Dr. Lambert enjoys visits to the beach, and is very passionate about travel and exploring new cultures with her husband Stephen when time permits. In June of 2015 they became first time parents, and are currently learning about sleep deprivation courtesy of their daughter Hailey.
